Shelton man is promoted at local credit union

Bryan Flores of Shelton has been promoted to vice president of consumer lending at Sikorsky Credit Union.

In the new position, Flores will be responsible for managing and developing loan policy, developing specific underwriting guidelines, product management of consumer loans, interest rate overview, and loan growth.

He has worked at Sikorsky Credit Union since 2006.

Sikorsky is the fourth largest credit union in Connecticut with more than 50,000 members and over $600 million in assets. It has an office in Shelton on Bridgeport Avenue as well as branches in Danbury, Milford, Seymour and Stratford.

The state-chartered credit union is open to anyone who lives, works or worships in Fairfield, New Haven or Hartford counties.
