Today 3-6:30 PM: Business Expo spotlights Valley businesses, restaurants
Valley businesses will come together in Shelton to display their products and services with each other during the 12th Annual Valley Business Expo, Health Fair and Taste on Wednesday, April 24 from 3-6:30 p.m.
The business-to-business event also will offer culinary samplings from local caterers and restaurants, health and wellness information, tech advise, and exhibitor give-aways.
The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce event will take place at 4 Research Drive, 5th Floor, Shelton. Admission and attendance are free.
More than 50 Valley area businesses are expected to participate as exhibitors. Last year, more than 400 people attended the Business Expo.
“This is the place to be to help grow your business,” according to publicity material.
Bill Purcell, Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce president, said the event is an excellent venue for local businesses to showcase what they do and to make connections with other businesses. “And it’s a fun event,” Purcell said.
At the expo, Greater Valley Healthcare Council members will provide free health screenings and wellness information.
Greater Valley Technology Council members will host “Ten-Minute Tech Talks” every half hour on topics ranging from time-saving tips to better utilize a smart phone to insights on cloud computing.
Guests also will be able to taste a variety of samples from area caterers, restaurants and bakeries. There will be a cash bar.
Register to attend at www.greatervalleychamber.com. To become an exhibitor, call Laura Gorman at 203-925-4981.
