WTNH anchor to share Slices of Life in Shelton

Emmy-nominated WTNH news anchor Ann Nyberg is scheduled to appear at Written Words Bookstore in Shelton to discuss and sign her new book, Slices of Life: A Storyteller’s Diary, on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m.

Slices of Life is scheduled to be released by Homebound Publications on Oct. 15.

Nyberg is the longest-serving anchor/reporter in the history of WTNH-TV. She has interviewed the most famous and everyday folks, all with a story to tell. She has also been on assignments to Cuba, and to the Vatican to cover Pope John Paul II. She has been voted “Best News Anchor” for a decade in “Connecticut Magazine’s reader’s poll. With a degree in journalism from Purdue University, Nyberg is also a philanthropist, business owner and columnist.

Nyberg has been a storyteller her entire life. It all started with a diary her mother gave her for Christmas when she was 8 years old. Slices of Life is based on that diary.
