Ansonia Man arrested for Shelton Burglaries
Shelton Police arrested an Ansonia man for his connection to two burglaries in Shelton during the Fall of 2017.
On Wednesday, Jan. 10 Shelton Police arrested Andre Genest, 28, while he was in Derby Superior Court on an unrelated matter.
Genest, who is currently in custody of the department of corrections was charged in connection to two burglaries, which occurred in Shelton in August and September of 2017.
According to a statement sent out by Detective Chris Nugent of the Shelton Police, the department quickly developed Genest as a suspect and were able to link him to the burglaries. Genest was charged with burglary and larceny in connection to the Shelton incidents and placed on a total of $15,000 bond.
