At the branch: All about pizza, Spanish with Sandra and more

Stories with Danielle — Thursday, Feb. 26 and March 5, 11 a.m. Story time for ages 3-4. Drop in.

Princess and the Pizza — Thursday, March 5, 4:15 p.m. Kids 5-7 share a story on the invention of pizza, and then share a slice. Register.

Show-and-Tell Storytime — Fridays, Feb. 27 and March 6, 10:30 a.m. Kids listen to stories, sing songs and participate in a game or experiment. Children are encouraged to bring along an object for show-and-tell. All ages welcome. Drop in.

Spanish with Sandra — Fridays, Feb. 27 and March 6, 2:45 p.m. Immersion Spanish for three-to five year-olds and their parents in this program using songs, games, story time and other activities. Taught by Sandra Alvarado, a Spanish teacher from Shelton; registration required and space limited.

Marvelous Mondays — Monday, March 2, 3:30 p.m. Kids ages 3-10 start the week creating a Cat in the Hat parfait. Activities run every 15 minutes; materials are supplied on a first-come, first-served basis; no registration required.

Baby Rhyme Time — Tuesday, March 3, 11 a.m. Infants through age 3 hear traditional and new nursery rhymes and songs, many with hand play or action; followed by free play and socialization.

Toddler Movement Program — Wednesdays, March 4 and 11, 11 a.m. Preschool kids march, dance and play musical instruments with songs and action poems included. For caregivers and kids 2-and-a-half to 4 years ready to participate in group activities, register in advance; waitlist available.
