Author and 'Outstanding Speaker' will give talk in Shelton
The National Speaker’s Association Connecticut chapter (NSA-CT) will meet Tuesday, Nov. 19 from 6-9 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn.
The guest speaker will be NSA member Willie Jolley, who has been named “One of the Top Five Outstanding Speakers in the World” by Toastmasters International and is recognized as an expert in the areas of attitude and achievement.
Jolley's presentation is titled "Turbo Charge Your Speaking Career!"
Has published many books
Jolley, who once was fired as a singer and replaced with a karaoke machine, has been inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame.
He is the author of the books "It Only Takes A Minute To Change Your Life," "A Setback Is A Setup For A Comeback," "An Attitude of Excellence!" and "Turn Setbacks Into Greenbacks." Jolley is the host of "The Willie Jolley Show" on CBS-TV, PBS, Sirius/XM & WHUR-FM.
The meeting is open to NSA-CT members and non-members; it is free to members and $35 for the public. The NSA-CT meets up to eight times annually at the Shelton Hilton Garden Inn. Learn more at nsact.org.
