Bingo for Boobies in Shelton sends a Pink message

Luigi DiPalmi and Susan Coyle, both from Real Estate Two in Huntington, help run the Bingo for Boobies event at Verace Restaurant in downtown Shelton on Oct. 13.

The bingo event raised money for The Valley Goes Pink breast cancer awareness initiative at Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness at Griffin Hospital. Valley Goes Pink fund-raising events continue through the end of October.

Real Estate Two partnered with Carpet King and Lava Tan to sponsor the event at Verace.

Diamonds, Bling, Wine, and Chocolate

Kate Marks will host a night with wine, chocolate and jewelry at Marks of Design, 500 Howe Ave. Tickets are $20. There will be a wine tasting with Connecticut Valley Winery, fresh Belgian chocolates brought home by Marks from Antwerp, Belgium, and 3% of all purchases go to The Valley Goes Pink. Jones Farms Goes Pink

Jones Family Farms will sell pink bracelets and pink pumpkins from 11-4 p.m. both days during this “prime” weekend before Halloween. Learn more at

Wine Tasting and Closing Event

Closing event for the month-long Valley Goes Pink campaign from 6-9 p.m. at Wellingtons Restaurant, 51 Huntington Plaza. Tickets are $50 and include hors d’oeuvres and samplings. Kick-off event guests can return their wine bags at this event. Contact Real Estate Two at 203-926-1122 for tickets.


The Valley Goes Pink is a grassroots, community-wide effort throughout the Lower Naugatuck Valley to create awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. The initiative raises funds for the Hewitt Center for Breast Wellness at Griffin Hospital.
