Book sale set for Oct. 24-26 at Plumb

The annual fall book sale is coming up at Plumb Memorial Library in Shelton.

Set-up by the book sale committee will be on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Preview night is Thursday, Oct. 24 from 6-8 p.m. A $5 fee is charged for browsers and shoppers 12 and younger.

The book sale continues Friday, Oct. 25 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., featuring an array of hardcover and paperback books for all ages from infant to seniors plus audiobooks, DVDs, puzzles, LPs and more.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, the prices on everything are cut in half during the 10 a.m.-4 p.m. sale. On the final day, Sunday, Oct. 27 from noon-4 p.m., shoppers can buy a bag for $5 and fill it up.

All book sale proceeds go to the Friends of the Shelton Libraries, a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

Members of the Friends receive discounts at special sales as well as ongoing sales at each library. Plumb Memorial Library is located at 65 Wooster St. and more information is available by calling 203-924-1580.
