Construction of Shelton Animal Shelter begins

Animal Shelter Building  Committee members were joined by city officials as well as those involved in the design and construction phases of the project.

The shelter should open next March and will be able to house 30 dogs and 20 cats.

Animal Shelter Building Committee members are Gerry Craig, chairman; Steve Martino, vice chairman; A.J. Grasso, Linda Hooper, Irene McCoy, Tony Minopoli and Roberta Reynolds. Gail Craig, Gerry’s wife, served as recording secretary.
