Will benefit lake association

The Lake Quassapaug Association will be the beneficiary of Subs & Such Beer Fest. For every ticket sold for the event, $5 will go toward the nonprofit association’s efforts to help keep the waters clean in the nearly 300-acre Lake Quassapaug.

“Quassy (amusement park) has long been committed to the community and environment and it’s nice to hold a fun event to benefit the purity and longevity of the lake,” said George Frantzis, Lake Quassapaug Association president and an owner of the park.
