Art in a Jar — Thursday, March 5, 9 a.m. kids 1-12 are challenged to figure out which book cover is scrambled up in the jar in the children’s department.
AlphaBits  — Thursdays, March 5 and 12, 10:30 a.m. Preschoolers and caregivers work on learning skills to make them kindergarten-ready.

Life is Art — Thursdays, March 5 and 12, 6 p.m. Kids 10 and older explore upcycled materials to create personal art statements. This week coffee filters become “Angel Wings” when 15 tweens get busy. Registration required.
Stay & Play — Fridays, March 6 and 13, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Open play time for preschool children, parents have an opportunity to chat over tea and cookies.
Budding Bookworms — Mondays, March 9 and 16, 10:30 a.m. A themed drop in story and craft time for kids 1-5 years old and their caregivers.
SW CAPA — Monday, March 9, 6:30 p.m. Regional authors and publishers meet to share and support, speakers and discussion; new members welcome, drop in.
Fun for Little Ones — Tuesdays, March 10 and 17, 10 a.m. Children ages 1-5 are invited to join Mrs. Fritsch for stories, songs, activities and a special theme related craft, drop in.
Book Buzz — Tuesdays, March 10 and 17, 1:30 p.m. Weekly book and book based craft plus a healthy snack. This program for preschool children and their caregivers.
knit! — Tuesdays, March 10 and 17, 6 p.m. Adult fiber fans meet to knit, crochet and chat. Support and fellowship in this drop in group, stop in and bring a friend.
Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead — Wednesdays, March 11 and 18, 1:30 p.m. Science, Technology, Engineering and Math plus Art provide focus for pre-school kids in a weekly hands-on activity.
Library/Home School Network — Friday, March 13, 2 p.m. Families explore library resources and share information; for parents and kids homeschooling already and those exploring the options; drop in.
Word Wizards — Saturday, March 14, 10:30 a.m. New preschool story time with Miss Maura starts family weekends with a story and craft plus dancing.
Minecraft Club — Saturday, March 14, 2 p.m. Kids 4-12 share ideas and tips in this free monthly program which offers a craft, game and educational element. Register.
Home delivery — Shelton residents who cannot get to the library due to temporary or permanent disability are welcome to apply for home delivery of library materials.
