Shelton Troop 60029 presented a program to incoming students to Perry Hill School on June 7. This program, “GPS,” or Guide to Perry Hill School, which comprised of the A-maze tour (tour of the school), Nuts and bolts (team building games), Stereotyping Sisters (perceptions and not judging books by their covers), and Frosting Footsteps (cupcakes and frosting), was developed by the cadet troop to complete the Girl Scout Amaze Journey. The Amaze Journey teaches how to navigate friendships, awareness of bullying situations, use of the Internet and cyber friendships.
