Got old books? Donate them to Shelton's libraries for upcoming sales

The Friends of the Shelton Libraries will hold four book sales this year. The remaining ones will be at Plumb Memorial Library in October, and two at the Huntington Branch Library in July and December.

The libraries are open six days each week and will accept donated items for all ages. At Plumb, items can be dropped off inside the doors on the lower level lobby.

Wanted are books, DVDs, CDs and puzzles in good, clean condition. Unsold books or games from tag sales are welcome.

Receipts are given for quantity, but dollar value is left to the donor.

Donations made to the Friends of the Shelton Libraries book sales help generate funds that go back to the community by funding special programs, additional books, and other activities at the two facilities.
