HIT THE COURT: Shelton Parks & Rec offers 'open gym' basketball program for adults
The Shelton Parks and Recreation Department is holding an adult Sunday morning open gym for basketball.
The program is Sunday mornings from 9–11:30 a.m. at the Shelton High School gym, 120 Meadow St., through April 12. The cost is $25.
Participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age and be a Shelton resident, or a full-time worker in Shelton to qualify to play.
Participants should register at the Shelton Parks and Recreation Department in the Shelton Community Center, 41 Church St., and be issued an identification card.
Participants must show their membership ID at the gym each week. Players are asked not to bring children due to lack of insurance for non-participants. Basketballs will be provided.
