Saturday, Nov. 23

Festival of Trees — Craft fair at Wesley Village, 580 Long Hill Avenue. The event is set for Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 23 and 24, 10-3 p.m. Eight-foot tables are available for $50 per day. Reserve spots: Barbara Quinn at 203-944-8292.

Cookie Express Christmas Fair — The Church of the Good Shepherd, 186 Coram Ave., holds annual fair 10-4 p.m. There will be cookies, vendors and raffles. Vendor spaces available for $30; contact Diane at 203-954-7362 or

Tournament — Teams from all over the state will compete at the First Lego Robotics Qualifying Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 23, 9–3 p.m. Held at Shelton High School, 120 Meadow Street, 24 teams will compete using programmable Lego robots. Concessions available.

Collection —  Shelton High School boys basketball and Shelton Biddy Basketball will offer a free basketball clinic, with participants asked to bring a nonperishable food item for Spooner House. The clinic will take place Saturday, Nov. 23 at Shelton Intermediate School. Session I for boys in grades 1-3 will be from 9-10 a.m., and Session II for boys in grades 4-8 will go from 10 a.m.-noon.

Donate food, get goodies — Sona Bella Salon & Day Spa is sponsoring Pack-A-Pick-Up on Saturday, Nov. 23, 9-1 p.m. All donations go directly to Spooner House. Drop off donations to the salon, 187 Coram Avenue .

Sunday, Nov. 24

Auditions — Center Stage Theatre holds auditions for Fiddler on the Roof 10-1 p.m., at 54 Grove Street. Adults, high school students and college students are eligible to audition. For more information, visit or call 203-225-6079.
