Benefited a worthy cause
Almost a dozen teams took part in the event at the ski area in the Litchfield Hills. The entry fee was $275 per team. The winning team came from Meriden.
“All teams that attended had a great time racing as well as raising money for the burn care unit at Bridgeport Hospital,” Mitchell said.
The event was sponsored by Sharon Hospital, with some of the proceeds benefiting the Connecticut Burn Center at Bridgeport Hospital.
