Lauretti’s expertise needed in Hartford
J.R. Romano, state GOP chaIrman, supports Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton, in his reported bid as Republican Governor of Connecticut by disclosing: "Mark has done a tremendous job as mayor of Danbury. He is one of the great examples that I point to who's led their city responsibly and I have great respect for him."
I also have the same great respect for Shelton Mayor Mark Lauretti who's led his city responsibly and I recommend he gives a shot at being the next Republican Governor of Connecticut. I have personally known Mayor Lauretti to be an active friend of Valley War Veterans for decades and he never said no to being an active participant in Derby Flag Day veteran's celebrations conducted by St. Michael Post 1562, Catholic War Veterans, at St. Michael Cemetery annually. The City of Shelton has grown 'leaps and bounds' under the successful 13-low-tax-terms in office of Mayor Lauretti and his expertise is needed in Hartford to replace the high-taxation, deficit-spending, bankruptcy driven Governor Dannel Malloy Democratic leadership.
