Learn about weight loss options at hospital

The Community Health Resource Center at Griffin Hospital will host a free educational workshop on weight loss options and bariatric surgery on Thursday, June 11, at 1 p.m.

Lori Nevins, social worker in Griffin Hospital’s bariatric program, will present “When Diets Don’t Work, What Are the Options?”

This free and open discussion will cover the options for the severely overweight and the chronically ill due to lifelong obesity.

The talk is open to individuals interested in weight loss and their friends and family. Griffin Hospital is at 130 Division St., Derby.
