Nancy Dickal running for reelection

Nancy Dickal has been a resident of Shelton for the past 35 years and is running for reelection to the Planning and Zoning Commission. She is married to Alan Dickal and they have two grown daughters Dawn and Lisa who both graduated from Shelton High School. One of whom that resides in Shelton is a Connecticut State licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator. Nancy is a Bridgeport Hospital employee where each and every day she helps families.
Nancy was appointed by former Senator Donald Williams Jr., President Pro Tempore to serve as a board member of the MHAC (Manufacture Home Advisory Counsel) at the State Office in Hartford where she works on health care issues that affect our towns and communities.
Currently a Planning and Zoning Commissioner, she has also been on the board of Apportionment & Taxation and an Alternate for Planning & Zoning. As a current Commissioner she recognizes the commitment and continuing attention that is needed for Shelton to work for balancing of growth, residents, and conservation and traffic concerns. She will continue to advocate for thoughtful planning and beneficial development- to protect the character of our community and listen to residents’ concerns.
