Pilot health grade program in Shelton

A new way to see the health grades of your favorite restaurant is on the menue.

The Naugatuck Valley Health District has updated its current signs and have started switching them out in Shelton as part of a pilot program that runs through the end of the month.

The signs feature the establishments most current inspection rating as well as the previous rating they scored. The new signs also include a QR scan code (bottom right). This feature brings you directly to the NVHD webpage by using your smartphone, where you can view information including the ratings of all the restaurants in Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Naugatuck, Shelton and Seymour.
