Pink Spirit Rally at Shelton High School

Shelton High School students, faculty and parents raised over $5500 for The Valley Goes Pink. A celebratory Pink Spirit Rally was held Friday, October 30, where the administration, mayor and football captains had their hair sprayed pink. In addition, due to meeting the goal of $4500, the Dr. Beth Smith became a pink "human sundae".

The pep rally also featured a crowd interactive scavenger hunt, a bunch of flips by the cheerleading team, and a joined effort in singing happy birthday to Mayor Mark Lauretti . Lauretti said he was happy to partake in the annual event and he enjoys seeing a school with so much spirit especially for a good cause.
