Michelle Lalliots and Diane Allen had three hits apiece to lead Porky’s to a 15-0 pounding of Cuppy’s in a Shelton Women’s Softball League game Wednesday night.
The win and a 7-0 victory over Downtown Danny O’s Monday improved Porky’s record to 9-0.
Porky’s is the defending league champion in the SWSL. Lori Graham added two hits and a RBI an Amy Petryshyn hurled the shutout in the win against Cuppy’s.
In the victory over rival Downtown Danny O’s, Petryshyn continued to shine in the mound by throwing a four-hitter while also dominating at the plate with four hits and two RBIs. Shortstop Tracey Garafalo had four hits and played great defense, while Allen had two hits and two RBIs.
Hirschbeck’s Sports Bar and Grill beat Danny O’s 18-11 Wednesday. Tracy Mitchell and Stacy Melota played well defensively for Danny O’s. Gillian Lozniak was excellent in the field for Danny O’s in a 11-1 loss to R&C Autobody Monday.
Caliente’s beat R & C Autobody 7-4 Monday night behind the pitching of Jess Minotti and the defensive play of Alli Barker.
Cuppy’s beat Hirschbeck’s Sports Bar & Grill 6-5 Monday night behind the pitching of Amy Kutniewski.
