
A pottery classes for adults is being offered by the Shelton Parks and Recreation Department at the community center, 41 Church Street
Students will work on the pottery wheel learning how to throw pottery in the class Mondays, starting May 4, 6:30-9 p.m.
The course will include building using the coil method. Projects to be made may include vases, bowls, pitchers, plates, mugs and more. Pieces can be glazed and then fired in the kiln. Instructors are Judy and Hope Harvey.
No class May 25, June 15 and 22. Class is eight weeks; costs $100.
