Rooms with a View in Southport spotlights Americanism designs

Interiors showcase Rooms with a View has announced its theme for 2013, “Americanism: Timely and Timeless Design.”

The theme, chosen by honorary chairperson and national tastemaker Thom Filicia, is intended to inspire designers to reflect on the aesthetic of “classic simplicity with an unexpected, modern touch.”

The showcase is set for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 8-9, from 10-5 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 10, 11-5 p.m., at Southport Congregational Church, 524 Pequot Avenue, Southport.
