The annual street fair in down Shelton featured food vendors, booths highlighting local businesses and organizations, live music, other entertainment, and great weather — with lots of sun and pleasant temperatures for early autumn.
There were about 140 booths at Shelton Day this year. The event is organized by the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club and helps raise money for the service club’s community projects and scholarship programs.
Thousands of people attended during the course of the six-hour outdoor celebration.
