SRH-MS elect King as new regent

At its May meeting, the Sarah Riggs Humphreys-Mary Silliman Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution installed Patricia King of Shelton as its new regent for the 2016 -2019 term.
Noting that SRH-MS members come primarily from Shelton, Derby, Trumbull, Monroe, and surrounding towns, Ms. King said, “I am honored to carry on the traditions of previous administrations, as well as continuing SRH-MS chapter's commitment to our members.”

Her Chapter Regent project will be digitizing the chapter records which began in 1893 and highlighting some of the history of the chapter for the members.

Any woman who is lineally descended from an ancestor who aided the patriot cause during the American Revolution may be eligible to join and should visit the chapter at for information.
