Valley Shakespeare Festival is offering another presentation in its Shakespeare in the Bar series, "Titus Andronicus." The performance will be Thursday, Oct. 30, at Porky’s Café, 50 Center St., for the festival’s adaptation of one of the Bard’s least-performed and bloodiest plays. Ticket price includes free pizza beginning at 5:30 p.m. and performance at 6:30 p.m. Audience participation is encouraged during the performance and guests will be broken into teams to compete for a special grand prize. Set in ancient Rome The company will perform "Titus," script in hand, with minimal costuming in the intimate setting of the upper bar area of the cafe set in ancient Rome. "Titus Andronicus" is a tale of betrayal, revenge, murder and mayhem. Attendees will receive Halloween goody bags and a grand prize will be awarded to the most attentive audience member.
