- Shelton Day at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo will take place Sunday, June 14 at the facility in Bridgeport, off Route 8’s Exit 5.
The zoo is open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Shelton residents will be admitted for the discounted price of $5 per person that day (admission is regularly $14 adults and $11 children). Proof of Shelton residency is required.
Tables with information on Shelton organizations and businesses will be set up at the zoo.
Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo periodically holds “town days” to introduce new people to the zoo and to promote nearby communities. The zoo has more than 300 animals plus many other activities.
