Girl Scouts from Shelton Troop No. 60290 sell cookies at a booth outside Walgreens on Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton on Saturday.
Despite somewhat chilly weather, the girls and some of their mothers — working in shifts with other troop members — sold cookies to the public for three hours in the morning.
“It was really busy in the beginning,” co-troop leader Elisa Uhrynowski said of the 9 a.m. start time. The troop’s other adult co-leader is Melissa Davidson.
Girl Scouts will continue cookie booth sales through March 31. Available cookie flavors this year are Do-si-dos, Dulce De Leche, Samoas, Savannah Smiles, Tagalongs, Thank U Berry Munch and Thin Mints. Learn more at gsofct.org.
