Shelton School District 2 hour delay Feb. 10
Light snow is falling Wednesday morning, meaning another day of delayed openings for some schools in Fairfield and Westchester counties.
Shelton School District has a two hour delay.
Steady light snow will fall from sunrise into the morning rush hour, according to the National Weather Service, and although there will not be heavy accumulations, snow will stick to roads and walkways, particularly those not treated. The Weather Service urged caution traveling Wednesday morning.
In coming days temperatures will slip down. Highs will approach 40 during the day Wednesday, dropping into the 20s for lows Wednesday night, and staying in the upper 20s for highs Thursday and Friday. Highs Saturday and Sunday are expected to be in the teens, with single-digit lows possible over the weekend.
