Shelton church plans porketta dinner for the public
The First United Methodist Church of Shelton will host a porketta dinner Saturday, Nov. 9 from 5-7 p.m. The event is open to the public at the church, 188 Rocky Rest Road (corner of Long Hill Avenue).
On the menu will be chicken noodle soup, slow-roasted porketta, baby roasted potatoes, a vegetable, beverages and dessert.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and children 12 and younger are free. Take out and delivery to Wesley Village will be available.
