Sharyn Scully, Owner, and award winning make-up artist at A Touch of Color make-up studio in the White Hills of Shelton announced this week that she has won the “Couple’s Choice Award” from Weddingwire for the 6th year in a row after receiving a perfect 5.0 rating based on customer reviews.
This means that she is in the top 5% in the country who is recognized for her excellence in customer service, make-up artistry and hair, according to Scully.
Weddingwire is a leading wedding website that helps newly engaged couples plan their wedding.
“When planning a wedding, it’s important to look for vendors with longevity behind them so you know you are hiring a seasoned professional. We have been working with thousands of brides in Fairfield County for over 26 years.” said Scully.
She said she takes pride in earning this award each year as it gives her an opportunity to see feedback from her customers.
“We have nothing to do with it,” said Scully. “The voting and reviews are all done by past clients and brides, which is the best part. It’s amazing, I love hearing and seeing that the brides we work with are all so satisfied.”
The companies that competed for the award were critiqued on their promptness, customer service, value, technique, and responsiveness.
Scully said her staff all share the same goal of contributing to the bride’s perfect day. She added that on top of her 26 years in the business her staff has a combined 56 certifications that help them provide a full high quality service to customers.
“We’re all on the same wave length,” said Scully. “We constantly are continuing our education. I never take for granted of my years in the business, I never want to stop learning. I always have to stay up on the latest and what’s trending, while still being able to provide the traditional classic looks as well.”
Bridal pretrials, offered in Scully’s White Hills studio are designed to help new brides figure out and determine their inspirations and expectations for their wedding. As every bride and wedding has its own style, understanding on what colors and looks will compliment and enhance their vision is a very important and exciting part of getting the perfect look, according to Scully.
“We really try to offer our 110% effort. Customer service really is dying,” said Scully. “We deal with customers who are frazzled because of their bad past experiences, but we pride ourselves in catering to our brides and regular customers. We bend over backwards to make sure we are being the best we can be.”
