Shelton's Echo Hose Ambulance to offer CPR class for public
A HeartSaver CPR/AED class will be offered for the public Monday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Echo Hose Training Center, 286 Howe Ave.
The video-based, instructor-led course teaches adult CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. It will be taught in a classroom setting.
The class is being presented by Echo Hose Ambulance, the city’s nonprofit EMS corps. The fee, including books and certification card, is $18 for Shelton residents and $45 for others.
Registrations must be completed online at EchoHose.com (click on “CPR/FirstAid”). Walk-in students will not be accepted. A minimum of six students is needed to hold the class.
