Shelton student singers perform at Disney World's Epcot

Five Shelton residents were among the Lauralton Hall students who performed in Disney at Epcot’s Candlelight Processional in Orlando, Fla.

Lianne Bisch, Amy Izzo, Elizabeth Khalil, Katherine Simonetti and Megan Wilcoxson are members of the Lauralton Hall Choir Advanced Vocal Ensemble & Concert Choir.

In total, 58 students from Lauralton Hall participated in two shows at the well-known theme park.

The performance included a 500-member choir from high schools and colleges across the country, joined by a 50-piece live orchestra and Disney cast members.

This was the 39th year that Disney hosted the show, which included Christmas classics such as "Joy to the World," "We Three Kings" and "O Come All Ye Faithful."

Lauralton Hall is private college preparatory school for girls in Milford, with 470 students from Fairfield and New Haven counties.
