‘Shrek the Musical’ coming to local stage
Bridgeport Theatre Company (BTC) will present the award-winning musical “Shrek the Musical” from April 25 to May 11 at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre, 263 Golden Hill St., Bridgeport.
In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogre instead of the handsome prince shows up to rescue a feisty princess.
The play, based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film, is both a twisted fairy tale and a comedy. It will be performed by a 30-member cast.
