Toddler Movement — Wednesdays, Sept. 4 and 11, 11 a.m. Songs, dance, action poems and musical instruments for preschoolers 2-4 and caregivers.
Storytime for 3s & 4s — Thursdays, Sept. 5 and 12, 11 a.m. Three and four year olds hear stories.
First Friday Book Discussion — Friday, Sept. 6, 1 p.m. Caleb’s Crossing by Geraldine Brooks is the subject for the self-led group; copies of books available.
Spanish with Sandra — Fridays, Sept 6 and 13, 2:45 p.m. Kids 3-5 and their parents experience Spanish language immersion through songs, games, story time and other activities with Shelton Spanish teacher, Sandra Alvarado; registration required, space is limited.
Baby Rhyme Time — Tuesdays, Sept. 10 and 17, 11 a.m. Infants and non-walkers discover nursery rhymes and action songs with their caregivers; followed by open play time.
As I See It — Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1 p.m. Friends of the Shelton Libraries offer a film viewing and discussion over desserts; new members and opinions welcome.
Packing Your Backpack — Saturday, Sept. 14, 10:30 a.m. Free program by Maureen Fox, special education advocate and professor of Educational Law offering ideas for getting a good start on the new year in special education.
