Workshops to help those suffering from chronic disease
The Aging and Disability Resource Center of South Central Connecticut is conducting six Live Well-Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) workshops designed for adults who want to take charge of their ongoing health problems and get relief from pain, fatigue and other symptoms.
The workshops help participants with ongoing health conditions such as arthritis, high blood pressure, anxiety, heart disease, depression and more.
Two orientations will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. Sept. 22 and Sept. 25 at Plumb Memorial Library, 65 Wooster St.
The workshops will take place from 1-3:30 p.m. at Plumb, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 20, 30 and Nov. 6.
