The Family Resource Center (FRC), located at TEAM Inc announces summer programs for area families with children: Summer Reading At the Derby Public Library, \u00a0 Wednesdays, 10-11 a.m., July 10, 17, 24 and 31; for children age 5-8 to enjoy reading and learning new skills along with other activities Zumba Fit Kids Club At Ballroom Dance Sport, 33 Elizabeth Street, Derby, Thursdays, 3-4 p.m. July 11, 18, 25 and Aug. 1; children age 5-8 move to the beat of Zumba, taught by a certified instructor and families can get tips on healthy eating and other fun cardio activities. Kinder Kamp At the Family Resource Center located at TEAM, Inc., 30 Elizabeth Street, Derby; Aug. 19-23, from 9-11 a.m. For Derby area children who are entering Kindergarten in the fall, an introduction to cooperative learning and listening skills with a combination of academics, music and movement.\u00a0 Presented by a certified Kindergarten teacher Rhythm & Things Wednesdays, 12-1 p.m. on July 10, 17, 24 and 31; for children from birth to 8, learn and explore with music and dance.\u00a0 Children will be introduced to musical instruments, rhythm and beats. Spanish playgroups Wednesdays, 5-6 p.m. on July 10, 17, 24 and 31, for Spanish speaking families and children (birth to age 8) to socialize, learn and network at the Family Resource Center, 30 Elizabeth Street, Derby.
