The first meeting of the Olde Ripton Garden Club 40th\u00a0Anniversary Year will kick off with a presentation by Amie Copeland Stark of Fairfield, on Monday, March 7 at 10 a.m. Stark is a master gardener and Principal Designer of Mia Flora Gardens in Fairfield. She designs, installs and maintains residential gardens all over Fairfield County. Her presentation will focus specifically on \u201cContainer Gardening Made Easy\u201d. She holds gardening workshops all over Fairfield County and is a program director at the Easton Garden Club. Club members will also be displaying \u201cFarewell to Winter\u201d arrangements made from branches with greens with or without flowers as well as Horticulture displays for St. Patty\u2019s Day. The meeting is open to the public and lunch is provided after the presentations. \u00a0 The program will be held on Monday, March 7 at 10 am at the Plumb Memorial Library, Community Room (downstairs), 65 Wooster Street downtown Shelton. Those interested in gardening are invited to attend. \u00a0Volunteers who want to assist in working at community projects throughout Shelton are also encouraged to attend.
