The Shelton Jaycees 50th annual Arts & Crafts Fair on the Huntington Green in Shelton will take place Sunday, June 8 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. More than 70 exhibitors will offer arts and crafts in dozens of categories at the event, which is free and open to the public. This is a judged show with prizes awarded to the top artist and crafter. Exhibitor space is available, with pre-registration for exhibitors $69. Jaycees work to help the community The nonprofit Shelton Jaycees, also known as the Junior Chamber, are a group of volunteers ages 21 to 40 who organize many community events each year. Events also include a car show at Riverwalk Park and activities to support charities such as the American Cancer Society and Valley Food Bank. Members volunteer as much or as little as they like based on their interest in the event. The organization provides hands-on leadership experience and training for members.
