Contingents and equipment from the Echo Hose, Huntington, Pine Rock Park and White Hills departments all participated in the parade.

Fire departments from Derby also were part of the two-town annual marching extravaganza that pays tribute to those who have died serving their nation in the military.

Some antique vehicles were driven in the parade, providing onlookers with a glimpse of firefighting equipment from many decades past.

The 2014 Derby/Shelton Memorial Day parade took place on the morning of Monday, May 26.
