Fatal vehicle crash in 2012
Steinmetz was arrested July 9 of this year and charged with negligent homicide in relation to a fatal crash last summer in Shelton, in which a 30-year-old Monroe man was killed.
Police, fire and EMS in Shelton responded July 8, 2012, to a vehicle vs. motorcycle accident on Leavenworth Road (Route 110) at the entrance to KellyNick LLC /Mont’s Mart, near the White Hills Shopping Center.
The driver of the motorcycle, Adam Haydu, 30, of Monroe died 11 days later.
