REWARD OFFERED: Shelton police seek public’s help to catch bank robbers
Shelton police were sent to the First Niagara Bank at 704 Bridgeport Ave. on Friday morning on the report of a bank robbery.
Two black males entered the bank and demanded money from the bank tellers, according to police. No weapons were displayed during the incident.
The 9-1-1 calls came in at slightly before 9:40 a.m. on Nov. 14, police said. The First Niagara Bank branch is in the Center at Split Rock shopping center.
Detectives are asking anyone with any information to contact the Shelton Police Department’s Detective Bureau at 203-924-1544. Calls will be kept confidential and there is financial reward for information leading to arrests in this case.
