Seymour pair charged with forcibly entering Shelton home, stealing jewelry

Two Seymour residents were arrested Monday on charges they entered a city home and stole items.

Shelton police charged John Decker, 32, and Erica Teal, 31, with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, and conspiracy to commit third-degree larceny.

Police said a burglary was reported last month. Reports allege that the two forcibly entered a home in Shelton during the day, and jewelry was stolen.

Both are held on a $30,000 bond for court on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
