A 31-year-old man from Shelton is facing multiple charges after Shelton police spotted him in the city.
On Tuesday, Shelton detectives were on Perry Avenue when they observed Joel Bullock, of 89 Walnut Tree Hill Road in Shelton, exiting a vehicle.
Bullock was wanted on two outstanding warrants — one for second-degree failure to appear and another warrant held by the Derby Police Department for three counts of failure to register as a non-violent sex offender.
Bullock was searched and found to be in possession of narcotics not prescribed to him, according to police. Bullock was additionally charged with illegal possession of narcotics.
Bullock posted a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Derby on May 12 for the Shelton charges.
Bullock was then turned over to the Derby Police Department on their arrest warrant.
