Allen Young, 20, of Bridgeport and Emanuel Ranger, 20, of Shelton were arrested this week in connection with a burglary that took place in the Spring of 2015.

On Feb. 17, Shelton Police arrested Young and charged him with larceny in the second degree, burglary in the third degree, and criminal mischief in the third degree. Young was also charged with conspiracy to commit each charge.

On Friday Feb. 19, police arrested Ranger and charged him with larceny in the second degree, burglary in the third degree, and criminal mischief in the third degree. Ranger was also charged with conspiracy to commit each of the charges.

Ranger and Young were both incarcerated on unrelated charges, according to a statement sent out by police. Detective Chris Nugent said police were able to link Ranger and Young to other burglaries that have taken place in the area, which occurred around the same time frame, in the Huntington section of Shelton.
