A Shelton man was charged with his wife’s murder Monday.

Police charged Thomas Infante, 52, with killing Lisa Infante, 52, his wife of 27 years. Police reports allege the two were going through a divorce, and after arguing Sunday night, he killed her.

After the shooting at around 9:30 p.m., Infante fled the scene.

Police alerted the public to be on the lookout for Infante.

He turned himself in to the police department Monday afternoon.

Infante was given a $1.5 million bond following his Sept. 29 court hearing.
