Woman charged for alleged role in Cumberland Farms armed robbery in Shelton
The Shelton Police Department has made a second arrest in an armed robbery in December 2014.
According to police, Samantha Cruz-Palarino, 25, of Oxford, turned herself in on a warrant for her arrest on Feb. 20.
Cruz-Palarino is accused of driving Valentine Rodriguez to an armed robbery of Cumberland Farms on Dec. 24, 2014.
Police said Rodriguez displayed a gun at the Cumberland Farms at 819 River Road, demanding money. Rodriguez, 33, of Bridgeport, was charged with first-degree robbery, theft of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, unlawful discharge of a firearm, interfering with an officer and sixth-degree larceny.
Cruz-Palarino was charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
Her bond was $150,000.
