FRIDAY AND SATURDAY: Shelton High students to sing and dance in ‘Footloose’

The Shelton High School Drama Club will present “Footloose” on May 8, 9 and 10 in the SHS auditorium. The show features a cast of 48 high school students.
Performances will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 8; and at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, May 9 and 10. Reserved seating tickets are $15, with a $10 student price on May 8 only.

Loud music and dancing ban
“Footloose” tells the story of Ren McCormack, who is transplanted from Chicago to the small southern town, where he rebels against a ban on loud music and dancing. The original 1984 film version starred Kevin Bacon.
