Lautenschlager awarded BIC scholarship
Miriam Lautenschlager, of Shelton, is the recipient of a $2,000 scholarship from BIC Corporation. The scholarships are awarded annually to the children of BIC employees and are based on the student’s scholastic achievements,community service and essay response. Lautenschlager is studying Nursing at Saint Anselm College and is the daughter of Marlene Lautenschlager.
BIC Corporation’s scholarship program, currently in its 45th year, continues to support future leaders and help employees' children defray the cost of college and graduate school.
This year, BIC awarded a total of $130,000 in scholarships to 84 students. Since the program’s inception, BIC has awarded more than $2.4 million in merit scholarships.
